DURATION & LONGEVITY

A lash lift takes about 1 hr & 15 min this is including a tint.

A lash lift tends to last between 4 - 6 weeks. Take good care of your lashes after the procedure if you want the results to last even longer.  How long your lash lift lasts comes down to two factors:

1. How quickly your natural lashes grow. The faster they grow, the shorter the lash lift will last.

2. How well you look after your lashes. Proper aftercare will let you enjoy your lift and curl longer.

You can’t control how fast your lashes grow, but you can treat them with Elleeplex or Keratin Lash Booster to give your curls extra life. Coming in too early for your second lift may risk damaging your natural lashes.

DOES IT RUIN YOUR LASHES OR HURT?

Lash Lifts do not ruin your eyelashes when performed correctly. However, If not done by a certified technician specializing in treatments around the eye area, there can be negative consequences for your natural lashes.

No, the procedure is totally painless.  You will have your eyes closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment.

CAN I USE AN EYELASH CURLER?

No. There will be no need for an eyelash curler as this treatment gives a much better result than using a curler, But more importantly, using one may weaken and damage your lashes.

ARE THEY SUITABLE FOR ME?

Lash Lifts are suitable for most people, however if you show signs from any of the following, we would recommend refraining from getting lash lift until the issue (where applicable) is resolved:

• Contagious or infectious eye disorders (Blepharitis, bacterial or viral infection, conjunctivitis)

• Stye (an abscess filled with pus, usually caused by staphylococcus bacteria)

• Swelling of the eye

• Boils, sores & bruises

• Cuts, abrasions

• Body and head lice

• Ring worm (extremely contagious)

• Chemotherapy treatment within the last 6 months (medical clearance from your doctor may be required)

• Lasik surgery less than 6 months ago (laser eye surgery) (medical clearance from your doctor may be required)

• Recent eye cosmetic tattoo within the last 6 months

• Metal allergy

• Epilepsy doctors may be required

• Trichotillomania (a condition where clients pull their own hair out such as eyelashes and brows)

• If you have damaged lashes (note that in some cases we may be able to assist, contact us for a consultation)

ARE THEY SAFE?

Lash lifts are safe when done by qualified lash technicians trained and experienced in this procedure. When performed by untrained, inexperienced individuals, lash lifts pose risks such as eyelash damage and loss, skin and eye irritation, and eye injury.

CAN I GET THEM IF I'M PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING?

Yes, you can get a lash lift while pregnant, however precautions need to be taken while the client is pregnant/breastfeeding. It’s important to know that anyone can develop an allergic reaction at any point in time during any treatment you receive. Although allergic reactions to lash lift are uncommon, pregnant women who want or get their lashes done are considered a higher risk. As a result of pregnancy and childbirth, different hormones are released and the body undergoes physical changes. These changes are inevitable and can possibly lead to an allergic reaction, hair growth changes & retention issues. If you’ve recently had a lash lift and have never had an issue – it’s rare you will experience a reaction. If you've never had a lash lift  in your life and want to try them for the first time while pregnant, we would advise against this.

ALLERGIC REACTIONS

If you have an allergic reaction to lash lift, do not rub treat them yourself, as this could damage your eyes and lashes or make the symptoms worse. Pop a cold compress on the eye & contact your doctor immediately. Disclaimer: Although I have been doing eyelash enhancement treatment for years, I am not a doctor therefore am unable to recommend clients to use or take anything to treat an allergic reaction.

There is no reason for you to stop living your best life, Yes absolutely!

Can I use a lash serum with a lash lift?
Yes! However always check with the brand you’ve purchased your serum from encase they advise otherwise. Lash serum can also change the direction of lash growth.
